Manage Your Stress Musically!

Music has tremendous power to influence how we feel...and it can be one of our best tools to manage stress. Please join us for this interactive and fun session, where we will (a) learn how music affects the mind, body, and spirit through its impact on the brain; (b) try some music relaxation exercises; and (c) exchange ideas about the music that de-stresses us the most.

This webinar is being led by Bakken Center Instructor Jenzi Silverman.


About the instructor:

Jenzi Silverman believes passionately in the power of music to heal. She has created and taught courses on music, the brain, and wellness since 2009, for the University of Minnesota Osher Lifelong Learning Institute and community education programs in the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. She has given presentations and workshops on this topic for numerous groups including public school students, the Metropolitan Activities Professionals Association, and Grand Rounds at the University of Minnesota Department of Neurology. Beginning in 2020 she is teaching Music, Health, and Healing for the University of Minnesota Bakken Center for Spirituality & Healing.
